ZULU 29.92 | Aviation Concepts Explained Clearly
"Helping pilots move beyond memorization and understand the ‘why’ behind flying."
About Zulu 29.92
Zulu 29.92 was created to help pilots understand aviation concepts clearly — not just memorize them for a written test or checkride.
Aviation training can feel overwhelming. Aerodynamics, aircraft systems, regulations, procedures, and checkride knowledge often get taught as disconnected facts. My goal with Zulu 29.92 is to break those topics down in a way that is simple, practical, and easy to apply in the airplane.
My name is Stefan Germer. I’m a professional pilot, flight instructor, and aviation educator. I hold Commercial Airplane Single-Engine and Multi-Engine Land certificates with an Instrument Rating, and I’m a CFI, CFII, MEI, Part 107 Remote Pilot, Advanced Ground Instructor, and Instrument Ground Instructor.
More importantly, I love teaching aviation. Whether I’m working with a brand-new student pilot, an instrument student, a commercial applicant, or someone preparing for multi-engine training, I believe good instruction should make the “why” behind flying easier to understand.
Zulu 29.92 is built around that idea.
Here you’ll find aviation lessons, whiteboard-style explanations, training resources, and course material designed to help pilots connect the dots. Topics include aerodynamics, aircraft systems, checkride preparation, multi-engine concepts, IFR knowledge, and practical decision-making.
The name Zulu 29.92 is a nod to aviation itself: Zulu time, standard pressure, and the shared language pilots use around the world.
Whether you’re a student pilot, a CFI candidate, a working pilot, or someone who simply loves aviation, I hope this site helps you learn something useful and stay excited about flying.
A good pilot is always learning — no matter how many hours are in the logbook.
